Retelling is such a great tool for you to use as first graders. It helps you to remember what happens in a story using the characters, setting, the events and the tie up. It can work when you are recommending a book to someone as well. If they want to know what happens in the story you can tell them the characters and setting and some of the events! Super helpful!
